Suzuki appears to be developing a new model of its bestseller scooter, Burgman Street 125. A camouflaged test mule of the scooter has been recently sighted taking trial runs on the open roads and revealing a bit about it.

Suzuki has modified the scooter’s design, where the front and rear portions were given a wee nip and tuck to make it appear stronger. The front apron, too, now appears to be redesigned to resemble something curvaceous and meaty. Side curves and body contours on both sides are changed from the previous model, while the reflectors have been repositioned from the mudguard to the wedge-shaped footboard. The back end, though, appears sharper than the current iteration, with the upper section being more angular and resembling something like the TVS Ntorq 125.
Suzuki to include some additional features
We also anticipate Suzuki to include some additional features in the new Burgman Street 125 without changing the rest of the features. The latest one is OBD-2B-compliant and features a 124cc, air-cooled engine tat churns out 8.58bhp and 10Nm. It is highly popular in India for several reasons, of which the first priority ones are its classic maxi styling with huge proportions, a huge amount of storage space, comfortable riding position and ride quality, and a sophisticated and fuel-efficient engine.
The Burgman Street is available in 10-inch and 12-inch rear wheel options. The latter is again divided into standard and Ride Connect trims, both of which are priced at Rs. 95,800 and Rs. 99,800, respectively. The 12-inch rear wheel trim, known as the EX, costs Rs. 1,16,200 (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). The facelifted model could see a marginal increase over these prices.
