Kia India is preparing an update to its mass-market MPV, the Carens. Following several spy images of the same, some dealerships have commenced taking bookings for the 2025 Carens against a token of Rs. 25,000.

The new and refreshed Carens will probably receive an updated design, with new headlamps that have been redesigned, slightly altered bumpers, and overhauled tail lamps with a connecting light bar. Regarding the cabin updates, the facelift may introduce a host of new features, such as a bigger infotainment screen, second-row ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof in place of the current single-pane for the top-spec models. Nonetheless, the ADAS suite may also be in the works with the new Carens, given that even the Syros now comes with this safety technology as part of the package.
Mechanically: The model will not see any changes. It will remain driven by the same petrol and diesel engines, along with manual and automatic transmissions. The 2025 Carens will remain the competitor to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the XL6 in the mid-segment MPV segment.
